There are many qualities and skills that go into being excellent real estate professionals - integrity, in-depth community and market knowledge, marketing savvy, effective negotiation skills and a high-quality professional network, all of which are hallmarks of how we work.
That said, in our experience as Westchester/Putnam/Dutchess real estate professionals, We've also found that providing the very best service is essentially about putting OUR clients first. This means keeping ourselves accessible, being good listeners as well as a good communicators, and responding quickly to your needs.
This "client first" philosophy has always been our approach and it requires us to continually improve our skills and ways of doing business. In addition, We've found that the latest technologies are enabling us to do everything We've always done, only much more quickly and efficiently. They've also helped us to extend the range of services WE provide to our clients.
So when you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in any of our service areas, please contact us.
Licensed since 1991, my real estate career began in on-site sales in the cooperative and condominium market in New York City with projects such as Trump Palace, The America, Grosvenor House and The Broadway. After moving to Putnam County in 1994 to raise my four sons, my primary focus has been working with buyer's and seller's in the Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess areas. I am a member of The National Association of Realtors, the Westchester County Board of Realtors, the New York State Association of Realtors and the Hudson Gateway Multiple Listing Service. Buying or selling a home is one of the biggest decisions anyone will ever make and it is very important to have the right person to help you and to look out for your best interests. I truly believe that everyone has a right to full and equal representation and service. My goal is to make every transaction a successful one and every client a friend!
Shawn grew up in Bethel/Danbury, CT where he was active in both football and baseball through high school. He then attended college in Boston where he received a degree in communications. After school, back in CT, he worked for General Electric and then spent time as a graphic/web designer. Shawn then moved out to CA where he participated in the Dotcom craze. Missing the subtle charm of the east coast he moved back to NY where he met his better half and helped raise 4 boys while working as a general contractor.
